MHS senior selected in QuestBridge College Program

One of Marianas High School’s very own is a finalist in the QuestBridge National College Match Program.

Darren Demapan, a MHS senior, is capable of receiving a full four-year scholarship, including room and board and all paid school expenses, to any eight prestigious college of his choice among the 27 partner colleges of QuestBridge.
QuestBridge is a non-profit organization that was established since 1994. This organization has worked to place the top-level college education for outstanding students. They charge no fees for any of their applications of any programs.
Last school year, 2008-2009, 260 QuestBridge applicants who participated in the National College Match process were selected as scholarship recipients, gaining admission and full scholarships to selected schools.
In addition, QuestBridge’s partner colleges spent more than $100 million in financial aid for students who applied to the National College Match.
Besides the National College Match Program, QuestBridge also offers Quest for Excellence Awards.
This program is designed to develop educational and career exploration for outstanding high school seniors. These awards include laptops, all-expense-paid visits to QuestBridge’s partner colleges, and career mentoring opportunities.
It takes a lot of determination and effort to be chosen as a finalist for a full-year scholarship. Imagine a full four-year scholarship to any of the 27 partner colleges of your top choices!
You have the option of choosing eight out of the 27 partner colleges of QuestBridge including Princeton, Yale, MIT, Notre Dame, and many more.
