Seto, Yamada paces 4.8 KM open – ocean swim
KOROR (Palau Horizon) – Estimated as the longest distance for the open – ocean swim with a measurement of 4.8 kilometer, 40 year old male Satoru Seto and 34 year old female Emiko Yamada paced the group of swimmers who defied the rough waters at the Riptide Beach and won first place on their respective categories.
PMA wins Title
KOROR (Palau Horizon) – Too much firepower, too muck skills, and too much of their 1 – 2 punch from the Palau Mission Academy (PMA) lady cagers, when they dealt with their counterparts on the championship match in conclusion of the Inter Scholastic League Girls Basketball Division.
Female Biker wins Bike Challenge
KOROR (Palau Horizon) – Forty – Two year old female led the pack of bikers in an excruciating and agonizing up and down hills route at Babeldoab to win the Shell Rainbow Challenge Bike time trials.
ABL appoints Officers
KOROR (Palau Horizon) – After the opening with 20 participating teams, the 2009 Amateur Basketball League organizes by selecting their leaders for the betterment of the tournament.
