With just eight days left to the CNMI Republican Party’s Open Primary election, both gubernatorial candidate teams are in high gear preparing for next Saturday.

On June 27, 2009, the polls will open at 7am and close at 6pm. All CNMI registered voters are encouraged to cast their votes. There will be no advance voting and no voting by absentee ballots, according to the Republican Party.
Voters registered on Rota, Tinian, Saipan, or Northern Islands who will present in another municipality on the Primary Election Day will be allowed to vote. Those voters are required to notify the CNMI GOP by filling out a form no later than 12 noon on June 29, 2009. Only those voters who notify the CNMI GOP by the deadline shall be permitted to vote at the Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe for Saipan, Tinian Elementary School for Tinian and NMC Campus on Rota.
