POLICE are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint in Afetnas, San Antonio
two weeks ago.
Department of Public Safety spokesman PO2 Eric F. David described the suspect as between 5’8” and 5’10” in height, medium built and with short hair.
“The suspect was wearing a dark colored shirt, possible gray or blue, camouflage shorts, and dark colored flip-flops during the time of the incident,” David said in a statement.
Police responded to a call by the 30-year-old victim who reported at 8:24 p.m. that she was sexually assaulted by the still unidentified suspect in front of the Well Jin Store in Afetnas.
The victim said the suspect was the one she had seen earlier standing by the stairway.
The victim was returning to her vehicle after buying a drink, when the suspect suddenly told her that she had dropped something.
The victim said she knew she did not drop anything and got scared.
Police said the suspect came up behind her and pushed her against her car as she was trying to get in.
The suspect held the victim against her vehicle and started pulling her pants and shirt, police said.
Police said the suspect used a knife to cut her blouse and told the victim that he would kill her while he stuck the knife against her throat after she tried to fight back.
The suspect forced her into the establishment’s dark portion where he sexually assaulted her, police said.
Police said the victim fought back, got into her own vehicle and drove to her residence where she called 911.
